Abstract

The research aims to analyze the need for digital library development in the IKIP PGRI Pontianak Education Study Program. The research method used is quantitative descriptive research. The research subjects were fourth semester students of IKIP PGRI Pontianak Education Study Program Pontianak. The technique of collecting data uses direct communication through an interview guide tool that is given to students, lecturers and librarians to analyze the needs of digital libraries. The conclusions of the research are: (1) digital libraries needed by students, lecturers and librarians, namely collection data such as books, articles, e-journals, e-books, membership, users, circulation, and reports. (2) design design in accordance with the need assessment by creating a flowchart, context diagram and data flow diagram to describe the flow of the digital library design.
